SaffronStays Amaltash is a 3-bedroom farm stay near Pune, set within a active farm surrounded by open fields, mountains, and seasonal farmland. Built as a modern single-storey villa, it features spacious bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms, a large living and dining area, a swimming pool with a separate baby pool, and expansive windows that frame views of the surrounding landscape. Guests can enjoy farm-to-table vegetarian meals prepared using seasonal produce grown on the farm, with non-vegetarian meals available from a separate kitchen.
Every season brings a different experience, from walking through paddy fields during the monsoon to harvesting strawberries, green peas, and vegetables in winter, or enjoying fresh seasonal produce in summer. During your stay you can explore the Tropical Rainforest in a Geodesic Dome, or simply slow down and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Located close to ISKCON Velha Temple and within easy reach of Torna and Rajgad forts, this farm stay is perfect for families, friends, and anyone seeking a slower pace, Amaltash invites you to experience the simple joys of farm life without giving up modern comforts.
Layout of the Home
- As you step inside, you're welcomed into a bright and spacious living and dining area where everyone can come together, with easy access to the outdoors and views of the surrounding farm.
- All three ensuite bedrooms are located on the ground floor, thoughtfully laid out to offer privacy while opening up to views of the fields, gardens, and distant mountains through large windows.
- Step outside to the private swimming pool with a dedicated splash pool for little ones, surrounded by open lawns and peaceful sit-out spaces that invite you to slow down and soak in the countryside.
- Wander through the seasonal farmlands and gardens or enjoy a leisurely walk around the working farm, where every season brings a different landscape.
- A separate caretaker's accommodation is located on the property, ensuring assistance is readily available throughout your stay while maintaining your privacy.

Things to know before booking
- Check-In Time : 1 PM
- Check-Out Time : 10 AM
- Given the increased need for safety, hygiene and sanitization required at the villa, and for the safety of our guests and staff we cannot allow any early check-ins or late check-outs. The check-in and check-out timings mentioned online and in your confirmation email need to be followed.
- Outside food is not allowed in the villa.
- Guests are not allowed to access the kitchen except for infants with prior permission.
- Guests cannot invite other guests and day visitors during their stay.
- Bachelor groups & stag parties are not allowed.
- We do not encourage parties and late-night revelry. Loud music is not permitted beyond 10 pm.
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted only within limits.
- Illegal activities including but not limited to carrying/consuming drugs/narcotics and carrying firearms/weapons are prohibited on the property. Management reserves the right to report any such activities to local authorities.
- Smoking within the villa/rooms is prohibited.
- The pool (if present) is unguarded. There is no lifeguard on site. Children in the pool must be accompanied by adults at all times.
- Guests are requested to take care of all personal valuables. Management is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any items.
- As required by law, every guest above 18 years must carry government-approved photo ID proof, that shows address. We accept only Aadhar Cards, Driving Licenses and Passports.
- Inappropriate behaviour or violation of any of the above House Rules will invite a polite refusal to accept a Booking. If already checked in, Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave.
- The last 10 km of the approach road is in rough condition.
- Given the location of the home amidst nature, you may spot some creepy crawlies (especially during rains). It is a request to reach out to the caretaker in such cases and not harm them - they are harmless until we bother them. Guests are requested to always keep the doors closed (especially while unattended) and close the windows at 6 pm to prevent flies coming in.
- Smoking (includes sheesha and hookah) within the villa/rooms is prohibited.
- CCTV cameras are installed in the common outdoor areas. There are no cameras inside the bedrooms.
