Located in Udaipur’s historic core, SaffronStays Rang Havelii shares a boundary with the City Palace. The property offers 2 uniquely designed rooms one on the ground floor and another on the first floor within an 8-bedroom heritage haveli, each inspired by traditional Rajasthani art forms such as Pichwai, Phad, Kavad, Molela, and glass inlay. The home reflects authentic craftsmanship through hand-painted walls, carved jharokhas, antique furniture, Makrana marble flooring, Dholpur stone, and camel bone inlay details. Spread across two levels, the haveli also features a rooftop chhatri and pool with direct views of the City Palace.
Panna Bagh (Ground Floor | Mint Green)
Inspired by the lush gardens of Rajputana palaces, this room brings a sense of calm indoors with mint-green walls and hand-painted trees where delicate birds rest. Designed like a quiet garden within the haveli, it offers a serene and soothing stay experience.
Maru Mahal (First Floor | Yellow)
Drawing from the golden tones of Jaisalmer and the Thar desert, this room reflects the warmth of sandstone palaces. With sunlit hues and earthy elements, it captures the essence of Rajasthan’s desert landscape.

Things to know before booking
- Check-In Time : 1 PM
- Check-Out Time : 10 AM
- Given the increased need for safety, hygiene and sanitization required at the villa, and for the safety of our guests and staff we cannot allow any early check-ins or late check-outs. The check-in and check-out timings mentioned online and in your confirmation email need to be followed.
- Outside food is not permitted
- No outside guests or day visitors allowed during the stay
- Kitchen access is restricted, except for infant needs (with prior approval)
- Bachelor and stag groups are not permitted
- Parties and late-night gatherings are discouraged
- Loud music is not allowed after 10 PM
- Alcohol consumption is allowed in moderation
- Illegal activities, including drugs, narcotics, or weapons, are strictly prohibited and will be reported
- Smoking is not allowed inside rooms or enclosed spaces
- Guests are responsible for their personal belongings; management is not liable for any loss or damage
- Valid government ID (Aadhaar Card, Driving License, or Passport) is required for all guests above 4 years
- Management reserves the right to deny or cancel bookings in case of inappropriate behaviour or rule violations
- Pre-wedding shoots are allowed (T&Cs apply; please inform at the time of booking)
- Security deposit: ₹5,000 per room
- This is a full 8-bedroom haveli, with individual rooms available for separate bookings.
- Paid parking is available approximately 100 metres from the haveli.

I had a wonderful experience at Rang Haveli. The ambiance, food, and overall atmosphere were exceptional, making my visit truly memorable. A special thanks to Ankit for his amazing hospitality and excellent service. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Highly recommended!
Good location and maintenance of the haveli!
The stay was good and ankit was great and gave support in all kind. He even came to pick us when we got lost.
To describe the stay in words is bit difficult coz its so beautiful , also located in the prime location accessible to all nearby excursion places. We had a 5 day 4 night stay during which the staff was very helpful each & every time especially Ankit who wipes all your worries away. Met the Host Ms. Rashmi also daily from 2nd day onwards, such a polite & dedicated person, always looking for the guests comfort. Great advices for the trips & local shops were given. Even surprising the guests with such good gestures in case of any special occasions. THE LAST THING & PROBABLY THE THING THAT EACH TIME YOU ROAM AROUND IN THE PROPERTY OR REACH BACK FROM OUTSIDE YOU JUST SEE SUCH A BEAUTIFUL ARTWORK EVERYWHERE IN THE PROPERTY FROM ENTRANCE GATE ITSELF.
