SaffronStays Aaraish Cottage consists of two sections: SaffronStays Aaraish ~ Suite on the ground floor and SaffronStays Aaraish ~ Luxe on the first floor. The Suite is a one bedroom stone unit located in Tandi, Mukteshwar, Uttarakhand. It has warm toned walls, rose pink roofing and white framed windows.
This stay is suitable for couples, friends or small families looking for a quiet break near Delhi. The verandahs face the Greater Himalayas, and there is a jungle area behind the property. The villa is about two and a half hours from Pantnagar Airport and from Haldwani Railway Station. The nearest markets, Kasialekh and Bhatelia, are around a twenty minute drive away, and Kasialekh can also be reached through a forty five minute trek from the back of the villa. Nearby places such as Balugard waterfall and local apple orchards offer simple nature based activities.
SaffronStays Aaraish ~ Suite combines natural surroundings with a clean, practical interior. The exposed wooden beam, custom made furniture and wide valley views give the home a simple and comfortable setting.
Layout
SaffronStays Aaraish Cottage has a two level structure. The exterior includes white framed windows, multiple balconies and black metal railings. Both levels receive good natural light.
On the ground floor, SaffronStays Aaraish ~ Suite features large glass doors that open into the living spaces. Inside, the layout includes: a living room (Kaafal), a sitting area (Buransh) on the left, a powder room, a dining area and kitchen and a bedroom (Brahma Kamal) with a wardrobe and attached washroom
Outside, a small patio area includes black metal seating for guests to sit and view the surroundings. The overall layout is simple and functional, designed for a quiet and comfortable stay.

Things to know before booking
- Check-In Time : 1 PM
- Check-Out Time : 10 AM
- Given the increased need for safety, hygiene and sanitization required at the villa, and for the safety of our guests and staff we cannot allow any early check-ins or late check-outs. The check-in and check-out timings mentioned online and in your confirmation email need to be followed.
- Outside food is not allowed in the villa.
- Guests are not allowed to access the kitchen except for infants with prior permission.
- Guests cannot invite other guests and day visitors during their stay.
- Bachelor groups & stag parties are not allowed.
- We do not encourage parties and late-night revelry. Loud music is not permitted beyond 10 pm.
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted only within limits.
- Illegal activities including but not limited to carrying/consuming drugs/narcotics and carrying firearms/weapons are prohibited on the property. Management reserves the right to report any such activities to local authorities.
- Smoking within the villa/rooms is prohibited.
- Guests are requested to take care of all personal valuables. Management is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to any items.
- As required by law, every guest must carry government-approved photo ID proof, that shows the address. We accept only Aadhar Cards, Driving Licenses and Passports.
- Inappropriate behavior or violation of any of the above House Rules will invite a polite refusal to accept a Booking. If already checked in, Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave.
- The security deposit for each room is INR 3000.
- The outdoor areas are shared spaces.
- The bedroom includes a bed with two nightstands and lamps, patterned armchairs with a small table, and natural light from two large windows with sheer curtains.
- Smoking is permitted only in the garden or lawn.
- Free parking is available on-site for 2 to 3 vehicles.
- Driver accommodation is available at INR 1000 plus taxes and includes basic two-time meals.

We had an amazing excellent stay. Ram ji and Chotu bhaiya were very cordial and helpful and made our stay even more memorable. We will definitely come back and will recommend friends and family to also visit.

Had a very peaceful time at Aaraish. The space is beautifully done and well- maintained. The caretaker Ram bhaiya and Chandan bhaiya are extremely sweet and helpful. Meals are scrumptious.ens that could use some attention. We had a lovely time and enjoyed our stay thoroughly!

We had an amazing stay at Aaraish. The interiors are fantastic and well maintained. It has a luxurious appeal, aesthetically designed and has a homely vibe. Ramji took immense care of our dietary needs and cooked us delicious meals (special mention to the aloo paranthas, green chutney and pakoras). His hospitality is part of the appeal of this place. It was the perfect getaway, not far from Delhi.
I had a wonderful stay at this property! The caretaker, Ram, and Chandan were exceptional — both incredibly friendly, helpful, and made our experience even more memorable. These two guys truly go above and beyond. The property itself is peaceful, well-maintained, and offers stunning views that added to the overall experience. I’d definitely give an extra star for the outstanding hospitality and serene atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Cottage AARAISH in Mukteshwar is a peaceful and beautiful place to stay. From the moment we arrived, Ram Ji and Chandan made us feel so welcome and cared for. They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, and their warm and kind nature made our trip extra special. The cottage itself is lovely. The interiors are clean, elegant, and cozy, with a perfect mix of comfort and charm. The bed was super comfortable, and everything was spotless. It’s clear that a lot of thought has gone into making the space feel inviting. The views from the cottage are absolutely stunning. We loved sitting on the balcony, taking in the mountains, and spending evenings around the bonfire. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of nature. The food was amazing—simple, fresh, and so delicious. Ram Ji and Chandan made sure every meal was perfect and served with care, which made dining here even more special. We’re so thankful to the owners for creating such a wonderful place and to Ram Ji and Chandan for their excellent hospitality. The property itself was a relief to see, and the hospitality from both the owner and her staff exceeded our expectations. We had a restful night’s sleep. The next morning, Ram served us a hot breakfast of our choice and provided helpful guidance about local attractions. After a delightful lunch and tea, we explored the local market and cafés, all recommended by Ram. The evening was well-spent, and when we returned, we were touched to find a dessert shaped like a cake in honor of my birthday, a thoughtful gesture from Ram and Ms. Shivika, the owner, who had remembered the occasion. The following morning, we enjoyed a refreshing walk around the villa with Ram, who showed us nearby farms and landmarks. It was an insightful experience, adding to the charm of our stay. When it was time to leave, Ram packed us a healthy meal for our journey, making our departure even more bittersweet. We left with heavy hearts, as we truly didn’t want to leave such a wonderful place. One of the highlights of our stay was the personal touch from the owner, Ms. Shivika, who checked in with us every day. Her professionalism and attention to detail made our experience all the more special. Overall, this was an exceptional experience, and we’re grateful for the hospitality.”
