SaffronStays Riverdale is a gorgeous 4-bedroom pool villa for rent in Lavasa on the banks of Varasgaon Dam. It’s a 4-hour drive from Mumbai and a 2-hour drive from Pune.
Spread across 4 acres, this private pool villa, located 10 minutes away from Lavasa city, has a swimming pool, a powder room and a cricket pitch (a 5-minute drive from the home).
The interiors of this bungalow for rent in Lavasa are artistically decorated with beautiful local Indonesian paintings, carefully hand-picked by the homeowners.

- The team of security guard, caretaker and chef will make sure you have a comfortable stay at this holiday home in Lavasa.
- CCTVs are installed covering all outdoor areas of this home for rent in Lavasa.
- The swimming pool of Riverdale is a 5 minute walk from the villa but within the property. There is a vehicle at the villa that can take the guests there who can be duly accompanied by the caretaker. The pool has a gorgeous view of the Varasgaon dam, so don't worry, it's worth the short walk.
Things to know before booking
- Check-In Time : 1 PM
- Check-Out Time : 10 AM
- Given the increased need for safety, hygiene and sanitization required at the villa, and for the safety of our guests and staff we cannot allow any early check-ins or late check-outs. The check-in and check-out timings mentioned online and in your confirmation email need to be followed.
- Outside food is not allowed in the villa.
- Guests are not allowed to access the kitchen except for infants with prior permission.
- Guests cannot invite other guests and day visitors during their stay.
- Bachelor groups & stag parties are not allowed.
- We do not encourage parties and late-night revelry. Loud music is not permitted beyond 10 pm.
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted only within limits.
- Illegal activities including but not limited to carrying/consuming drugs/narcotics and carrying firearms/weapons are prohibited on the property. Management reserves the right to report any such activities to local authorities.
- Guests are prohibited from smoking and setting up hookahs in the rooms/villa/lawns.
- The pool (if present) is unguarded. There is no lifeguard on site. Children in the pool must be accompanied by adults at all times.
- Guests are requested to take care of all personal valuables. Management is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any items.
- As required by law, every guest above 4 years must carry government-approved photo ID proof, that shows address. We accept only Aadhar Cards, Driving Licenses and Passports.
- Inappropriate behaviour or violation of any of the above House Rules will invite a polite refusal to accept a Booking. If already checked in, Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave.
- No crackers or colours are permitted in this home.
- All payments for booking the villa, including meals will have to be pre-paid prior to checkin. Security Deposit collected during booking will be returned during check-out or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out, provided no damages are observed. To avoid inconvenience, we will not be accepting cash onsite for any reasons henceforth.
- Security deposit is to be paid two days prior to check-in. If no damages are observed, the deposit will be returned during check-out itself or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out. Please Note: The Security Deposit is subject to change depending upon the number of nights and the group size. Please check with your holiday advisor at the time of booking.
- In case of special occasions like wedding and pre wedding ceremonies, milestone celebrations and events, and similar such events that require the parts or entire estate, whether they require elaborate arrangements or not, are at the sole discretion and explicit permission of the management. These need to be informed at the time of booking, and additional venue charges, additional deposits and charges for time efforts and specialised skills needed for prior arrangements and post event cleanup will apply.
- The swimming pool of Riverdale is a 5-minute walk from the villa but within the property. The pool has a gorgeous view of the Varasgaon dam.
- This villa is perfect for a digital detox near Mumbai and Pune as there is no wifi here and the network connectivity is very weak due to its offbeat location.
- The swimming pool timings are 8:30 am to 7 pm.
- Security deposit has to be paid online before check-in.
- Due to heavy rains, guests may experience frequent power outages.
- One of the bedrooms has a set of twin beds.
- Considering the unique location of the villa, Internet connectivity can get affected due to the falling of trees, heavy rains or other causes.
- The home is located only 7 kms from the main Lavasa City where guests can opt for fun activities such as dirt biking, paintball and river rafting.
- Adventure enthusiasts can enjoy trekking around the Varasgaon Dam.
- The Varasgaon Waterfall is located at a 30 minutes drive from this luxury bungalow in Lavasa.
- Lord Bhairoba Temple and Ganpati Temple are located 30 minutes away from this home.

Location of the villa is very beautiful and peaceful. Room on the ground floor is very basic. Food was good. Cleanliness not upto the mark.
The lights had gone 2 -3 times.Genset was turned on as light's went off
Our stay was amazing! Rahul, our caretaker, was very helpful and made sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious, and we had a great time enjoying the pool as well. Everything was well-maintained and comfortable. Overall, it was the best experience!

The property is not very well maintained and may not meet your expectations in terms of cleanliness and upkeep. Additionally, the swimming pool is located at a distance and is not directly attached to the property, which might be inconvenient. However, the staff was very cooperative and helpful throughout our stay. The caretaker was welcoming and made sure we were comfortable. The food served was good and added to the overall experience.
Onsite staff is very helpful, food tastes great. Swimming pool location (staircase) is not very convenient for aged people but for others it is worth the effort. Pool depth is also a factor for a few people, it is low may be 4ft only. I hope there will be enough free space for outdoor activities.
Good view villa ,their is no specific living room in this villa as shown in photo it's very small living area of a private bedroom If you are coming from Mumbai kindly avoid it it's very far took me around 7hr to reach in maps it's was showing 4.5hr
This is not a proper villa, but a building with apartments. 1 room is master with sitting area, 2 rooms with bed and attach bathroom but the 4th room is more like servants room and not that good looking. Staff (Santosh) is really helpful and saves the day with all requests. Breakfast cooked at property was great. Pool is far from property, 5 mins stair walk. Car can also go down but at this time road was bad and you need proper 4x4 to climb up, so better go by walk. We were there on first week of April, hence few things were not great view wise, still Sunrise should not be missed. I am 100% sure, in monsoon the views would be much much better.
The pool is little farther away from the stay. But the view is mesmerizing. Staff and Food is too good. They are humble and helpful throughout the stay. Santosh is very polite and helpful.

Perfect place for weekend gateway with friends. Delicious food, well maintained property at scenic location. Caretaker Santosh and rest of the support staff members are very prompt and humble. Few things should be considered to improve the experience for guests coming with family especially kids. 1. Access to swimming pool is bit adventurous as there are several steps to reach down there. 2. Not much for kids' recreation as very limited indoor board games available.

Beautiful location and excellent staff. Vanita is a great cook. We visited in May when it was extremely hot so owners need to make arrangements for at least afternoon meals to be had inside

It’s 3 bedroom plus one dorm room. Also swimming pool is 5-10 downhill walk. Internet doesn’t work at all. Location is very beautiful.
Beautiful Property with spectacular views around. Staff is very Co-operative. Food taste is homely. Bathrooms and rooms are clean. Overall it’s a pleasant property. Must visit place.
The staff at riverdale is very good , the bungalow is located at a peaceful place and has a nice view . Pool is a bit far and out of the place but manageable .

The villa is located at a very calm and peaceful place. The rooms and the pool was very clean and well maintained. We were a group of 8 people and kids. Both veg and non veg dishes were amazing and home cooked by the caretaker Mr and Mrs Kumbhar. The meals are highly recommended and were prepared as per our likings and request by them. Lastly the communication right from booking till checkout by Saffronstays responsible Mr. Admane made our stay stressfree.
