Lattitude by the Lake is an eco-friendly pool home nestled in Kamshet, just 2.5 hours from Mumbai, overlooking the serene waters of Andre Dam. Designed for relaxed lakeside living, the home features lush lawns, a shared swimming pool, and multiple sit-out areas that invite you to slow down and soak in the surroundings. Guests often find themselves spending most of their time on the verandahs with a swing and large dining table, or curled up in the living room with a book, enjoying quiet moments of me-time. The expansive greens make it ideal for pets and children to play freely, while the picturesque lake backdrop and charming décor create a perfect setting for intimate weddings, engagement ceremonies, girls’ getaways, and other special celebrations. The property can host up to 24 guests for an overnight stay and up to 75 guests for day events, with ample space across the lawns, poolside, and open sit-outs for memorable gatherings.
Layout of the Home
- The property comprises 6 bedrooms spread across two independent residential cottages, set within the same premises and sharing common outdoor spaces.
- One cottage houses 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 9 guests; it features two bedrooms on the ground floor with wheelchair access directly into the home, making it comfortable for senior citizens.
- The second cottage has 3 bedrooms and can accommodate up to 12 guests, with the option of hosting 4 additional guests on mattresses, available on request. This cottage includes two bedrooms on the ground floor and a spacious two-bedroom combined suite on the first floor.
- Together, both cottages offer a thoughtful balance of privacy and togetherness, ideal for large families, group stays, and celebrations.

Things to know before booking
- Check-In Time : 1 PM
- Check-Out Time : 10 AM
- Given the increased need for safety, hygiene and sanitization required at the villa, and for the safety of our guests and staff we cannot allow any early check-ins or late check-outs. The check-in and check-out timings mentioned online and in your confirmation email need to be followed.
- Outside food is not allowed in the villa.
- Guests are not allowed to access the kitchen except for infants with prior permission.
- Guests cannot invite other guests and day visitors during their stay.
- Bachelor groups & stag parties are not allowed.
- We do not encourage parties and late-night revelry. Loud music is not permitted beyond 10 pm.
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted only within limits.
- Illegal activities including but not limited to carrying/consuming drugs/narcotics and carrying firearms/weapons are prohibited on the property. Management reserves the right to report any such activities to local authorities.
- Guests are prohibited from smoking and setting up hookahs in the rooms/villa/lawns.
- The pool (if present) is unguarded. There is no lifeguard on site. Children in the pool must be accompanied by adults at all times. Pool timings are 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Guests are requested to take care of all personal valuables. Management is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any items.
- As required by law, every guest above 4 years must carry government-approved photo ID proof, that shows address. We accept only Aadhar Cards, Driving Licenses and Passports.
- Inappropriate behaviour or violation of any of the above House Rules will invite a polite refusal to accept a Booking. If already checked in, Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave.

Tea/Coffee will be served during breakfast and evening tea time. If you would like tea/coffee at any other time of the day, it can be arranged at an additional charge.
- No crackers or colours are permitted in this home.
- All payments for booking the villa, including meals will have to be pre-paid prior to checkin. Security Deposit collected during booking will be returned during check-out or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out, provided no damages are observed. To avoid inconvenience, we will not be accepting cash onsite for any reasons henceforth.
- Security deposit is to be paid two days prior to check-in. If no damages are observed, the deposit will be returned during check-out itself or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out. Please Note: The Security Deposit is subject to change depending upon the number of nights and the group size. Please check with your holiday advisor at the time of booking.
- In case of special occasions like wedding and pre wedding ceremonies, milestone celebrations and events, and similar such events that require the parts or entire estate, whether they require elaborate arrangements or not, are at the sole discretion and explicit permission of the management. These need to be informed at the time of booking, and additional venue charges, additional deposits and charges for time efforts and specialised skills needed for prior arrangements and post event cleanup will apply.
- Kamshet experiences load shedding by the MSEB on Thursdays between 9 am-6 pm.
- The spacious third bedroom located on the upper level of the first cottage with its own private balcony offering the unparalleled views of the lake, lacks a door.
- The suite in Longitude has a shared bathroom.
- Outside meals are not allowed.
- Considering the unique location of the villa, Internet connectivity can get affected due to falling of trees, heavy rains or other causes
- Smoking (includes sheesha and hookah) within the villa/rooms is prohibited
- There are 3 paragliding schools & a hot air balloon rental in Kamshet. You can register for a solo flying course or enjoy a tandem joyride.
- In addition, Camp Water's Edge provides kayaking and other water sports facilities. Numbers for various attractions have been placed with the caretaker.
- For those who like to shop, there are two local bazaars nearby: Kanhe Market on Monday and Talegaon Market on Thursday where guests can pick up local souvenirs

It was splendid. The villa is exquisite. So neatly done. Each and every thing inside and outside the villa is to fell in love with. It is nestled in a jungle and very close to the lake which looks pristine. The entire villa has a very clear view of the lake which can be enjoyed from the swimming pool. Loved the construction. The staff is very cordial, gentle, and customer-centric. They ensured that we had a great time all throughout from arranging sumptuous food, to arranging snacks round the clock. Absolutely a must visit place.

**????? An unforgettable monsoon getaway at SaffronStays Latitude by the Lake** We had one of the most wonderful friends trip at Latitude by the Lake, and it's hard to know where to start! The property itself is stunning — that gorgeous brick-and-timber architecture with the sweeping arched verandahs, circular windows, and pitched tiled roofs gives the whole place such unique old-world charm. Waking up to misty monsoon views of the lake and hills right from the lawn was pure magic, and the sprawling green lawns, cozy sit-outs, and pool made it perfect for both relaxing and playing around with the kids. A special mention has to go to **Chef Ratan and his family**, who took care of us like their own. The hospitality was heartwarming from the moment we arrived, and every single meal was a highlight of the trip — full of flavour, clearly made with a lot of care, and perfectly suited to a rainy, cozy weekend in. The service throughout our stay was attentive without ever being intrusive, and it truly made the whole experience feel effortless. Between the misty lake views, the beautiful heritage-style property, and the incredible food and warmth from Chef Ratan's team, this stay will stay with us for a long time. An excellent stay. The villas are very well planned and tastefully done up and hence very comfortable. The food was delicious & we all pigged out... Ratan did a great job with the food. Amazing architecture, food, service!! They had everything we needed and more, food was better than 5 star hotels!! The Chef and staff were professionals, specially the head Chef Ratan Thapa, who made each and every dish better than how it generally is!!
