Yes, our home is child friendly.
There is plenty of space to run around and many indoor activities that will keep your children occupied. There is also a basic first-aid kit, stocked with Dettol, band-aids, etc., for minor injuries. Parents are advised to be cautious when allowing kids to run around.

Yes, we have a backup Genset in case of rare occasions of power failure. Guests are requested to switch off the ACs during power outages as it consumes more power.
6. Do you have a problem with mosquitoes? How do you deal with it to make our stay more comfortable?
All rooms have mosquito repellents. Guests are advised to shut the windows between 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm to avoid mosquitoes and insects from entering the home.

No. Guests will only be able to access common areas on the property such as the living room, garden, private pool (if any), etc.
Guests are strictly prohibited from crossing into neighboring properties under any circumstances. We request our guests to respect the privacy and personal space of our neighbours.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the home. If you wish to smoke, please do so outside in the garden/lawn area.
Alcohol consumption is permitted within limits. We do not encourage late night revelry or loud music.
Check-in time at 1 pm and check-out time is 10 am. Please note that check-out timings are strict as we need to ready the rooms for our next booking. Guests are requested to respect the timing of other guests as well. In case you wish to check in a little early or check out a little late, do inform us at the time of booking. Additional charges will be applied. Late check-out charges includes meals (lunch).
As required by law, all guests have to provide their government-approved Photo IDs (that clearly show their residential address) at the time of Check-in. Your co-operation is of utmost importance to us.
Given the location of our home, playing loud music is allowed within limit and during specific time/hours.
Guests are requested to respect our neighbours and keep the noise level mild and within the villa.
Payments
If the Guest cancels the booking anywhere before 21 days before the check-in date, they are entitled to a 100% refund. If the Guest cancels the booking anywhere between 21-11 days before the check-in date, they are entitled to a 50% refund. For any cancellations made after 11 days to the check-in date, there would be no refund. If the Guest has made a partial payment, he/ she is not entitled to any refund whatsoever. All cancellation policies are overridden if a guest uses the “NOCANCEL” coupon while booking. The guest is not entitled to any refund and will have to pay a 100% rescheduling fee in the event of the same. Cancellations for peak dates such as Independence Day (15th Aug), Diwali (29th Oct to 10th Nov), Christmas and New Year (24th Dec to 2nd Jan), and Republic Day (26th Jan) will not be accepted. A nominal 2.75% convenience fee would be deducted from the refund amount for processing of the cancellation.
Unfortunately, there is no option for part payment. Guests are required to pay 100% of the payment before check-in.
Once you have chosen your dates and your booking has been accepted, you will receive a payment link where the payment can be processed.
In case you're unable to make an online payment through the link, you could also deposit the cash in our bank account directly. We also offer other options like PayTM, NEFT/IMPS or UPI.
Yes/No. Members can/cannot redeem their nights, utilise their privileges and avail any offers while booking this home.
No. All payments for booking the villa, including meals, will have to be pre-paid prior to check-in. Security Deposit collected during booking will be returned during check-out or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out, provided no damages are observed. To avoid inconvenience, we will not be accepting cash onsite for any reasons henceforth.
Please note: The Security Deposit is subject to change depending upon the number of nights and the group size. Please check with your holiday advisor at the time of booking.
Security deposit is to be paid two days prior to check-in. If no damages are observed, the deposit will be returned during check-out itself or by NEFT within 5 business days after check-out.
How to get there
While roads connecting to the property are good, guests are advised to check the road and weather conditions before leaving for a road trip.

Yes. Please note that toll charges are subject to change, depending on the authorities and the type of vehicle. Guests are requested to carry sufficient cash to cover the toll charge.

Yes, alcohol consumption is permitted within limits. There are no corkage charges.
Meals are ordered from a Cloud Kitchen and provided onsite and can be availed at additional charges. We levy an on-site cash handling charge (INR 500) and request you to pay for all meals before check-in to avoid this inconvenience.
Tea/Coffee will be served during breakfast and afternoon tea time. If you would like tea/coffee during the day, this will be arranged at an additional charge.
Safety
Yes, there are CCTV cameras installed in the living room, common areas and outside sections. Private bedrooms and bathrooms are not monitored.
No, the home is within a fenced area. However, should a stray dog enter, inform the caretaker and he will address the issue.

Yes, there is a private pool swimming pool within the complex. Pool timings are between 9 am to 7 pm. The water is chlorinated and pool balls have been placed nearby for kids. As there is no lifeguard on hand, guests are advised to be cautious (especially around kids) and to refrain from swimming late at night.
Our pool is available for poolside parties. However, we recommend keeping alcohol, food and glass bottles away from the pool to avoid accidents.
Saral Beach is just a 5 mins drive. The tides are safe, but we recommend you to enjoy the waves from a distance post sunset.
Yes, there is a beach nearby. It is about 5 minutes drive from our home. It is a tourist spot. The water body is safe but guests are advised to be careful around it.

Things to know before booking
Check-In and Check-Out:
- Check-In Time : 1 PM
- Check-Out Time : 10 AM
- Given the increased need for safety, hygiene and sanitization required at the villa, and for the safety of our guests and staff we cannot allow any early check-ins or late check-outs. The check-in and check-out timings mentioned online and in your confirmation email need to be followed.
House Rules:
- Outside food is allowed in the villa, with cleaning charges of ₹2000.
- Guests are not allowed to access the kitchen except for infants with prior permission.
- Guests cannot invite other guests and day visitors during their stay.
- Bachelor groups & stag parties are not allowed.
- We do not encourage parties and late-night revelry. Loud music is not permitted beyond 10 pm.
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted only within limits.
- Illegal activities including but not limited to carrying/consuming drugs/narcotics and carrying firearms/weapons are prohibited on the property. Management reserves the right to report any such activities to local authorities.
- Smoking within the villa/rooms is prohibited.
- The pool (if present) is unguarded. There is no lifeguard on site. Children in the pool must be accompanied by adults at all times.
- Guests are requested to take care of all personal valuables. Management is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any items.
- As required by law, every guest above 4 years must carry government-approved photo ID proof, that shows address. We accept only Aadhar Cards, Driving Licenses and Passports.
- Inappropriate behaviour or violation of any of the above House Rules will invite a polite refusal to accept a Booking. If already checked in, Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave.
About the Property:
- At SaffronStays, your comfort and safety are our top priorities. As the monsoon season approaches and coastal winds sweep through Alibaug, occasional power fluctuations or outages may occur due to weather conditions or regional restrictions.
- In the event of a power interruption, our reliable generator backup will be switched on promptly to ensure minimal inconvenience. Please note the following:
- Diesel charges will apply after 8 hours of generator usage, at the rate of ₹800 per hour thereafter.
- Maintenance Breaks: To prevent overheating and ensure smooth operation, the generator must be switched off for 30 minutes after every 2 hours of continuous use.
- Power Conservation: During backup power periods, we kindly request guests to refrain from using high-power-consuming appliances such as air conditioners and geysers, so that the system remains stable for everyone’s comfort.
- While our team will be on standby to assist during such instances, we appreciate your understanding that power outages due to external factors are beyond our control.
- As the monsoon season approaches and the coastal winds blow, we wanted to take a moment to inform you about a possibility that comes with this beautiful weather: power outages. At SaffronStays, your comfort and safety are our top priorities. In anticipation of potential power interruptions, our diligent villa staff will be on standby to ensure your stay remains uninterrupted. Our reliable power backup system will kick in swiftly. To maintain the stability of the backup system and protect all our guests, we kindly request your cooperation in refraining from using certain high-power-consuming appliances such as air conditioners and geysers during these periods.
- In case of a power outage or fluctuations, generators can be switched on. However, power outages or fluctuations due to weather, regional restrictions, etc. are beyond our control. Hence, diesel charges for genset operation will need to be paid by the guests after 4 hours of usage, the prices for further usage will be INR 800 per hour. The genset needs to be switched off for 30 mins, after every two hours of usage, to avoid a breakdown.

The villa is nice overall but definitely needs better maintenance. The quality of the linen and towels was below expectations, which took away from the experience. That said, our stay was made enjoyable thanks to the proactive and helpful attitude of the caretaker, Pooja. She was excellent and prepared a very good breakfast, which we really appreciated. With improved upkeep and attention to detail, this property has the potential to be a great place to stay.

Was a wonderful stay and met all our expectations. The villa is quite large, spacious and was well appointed with 4 bedrooms, massive living/dining area, outdoors, swimming pool and dedication play area. Multiple sit-outs available pool side, alfresco as well as beside the bedroom and on the terrace. The staff was attentive and helpful, with Pooja being a very good caretaker and Mama being the ever available handyman with a solution to all problems.
