We offer healthy home-cooked meals prepared using locally sourced fresh ingredients. Tea/Coffee will be served during breakfast and high tea time. If you would like tea/coffee at any other time of the day, it can be arranged at an additional charge.
Vessels and cutlery used for preparation and serving of Vegetarian & Non Vegetarian food are different.
Due to the current LPG supply shortage, there may be limited availability of meal services for a short period. Our team is doing everything possible to minimize any inconvenience, and we sincerely appreciate your understanding

Kantaai is a Balinese-inspired stay designed for calm, easy getaways. The property features three row house style units, each with two spacious bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms, offering a comfortable and private retreat.
Every bedroom comes with its own sit-out area, perfect for slow mornings with coffee or relaxed evenings outdoors. The warm wooden interiors, tropical touches, and peaceful surroundings create a laid-back holiday vibe.
On weekdays, guests also have the option to book individual bedrooms within a unit.
Layout
- 3 units, each with 2 bedrooms (can be booked individually or together)
- There is also a one-bedroom unit (Kantaai Zen) with a private plunge pool, ideally for couples
- Each unit has its own private pool located at the back
- Pools are accessible only through the bedrooms for added privacy
- High collapsible walls separate pool areas for seclusion
- Partitions between pools can be opened when booking the full property
- Ideal for both private stays and larger group gatherings

Things to know before booking
- Check-In Time : 1 PM
- Check-Out Time : 10 AM
- Given the increased need for safety, hygiene and sanitization required at the villa, and for the safety of our guests and staff we cannot allow any early check-ins or late check-outs. The check-in and check-out timings mentioned online and in your confirmation email need to be followed.
- Outside food is not allowed in the villa.
- Guests are not allowed to access the kitchen except for infants with prior permission.
- Guests cannot invite other guests and day visitors during their stay.
- Bachelor groups & stag parties are not allowed.
- We do not encourage parties and late-night revelry. Loud music is not permitted beyond 10 pm.
- Consumption of alcohol is permitted only within limits.
- Illegal activities including but not limited to carrying/consuming drugs/narcotics and carrying firearms/weapons are prohibited on the property. Management reserves the right to report any such activities to local authorities.
- Smoking within the villa/rooms is prohibited.
- The pool (if present) is unguarded. There is no lifeguard on site. Children in the pool must be accompanied by adults at all times.
- Guests are requested to take care of all personal valuables. Management is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to any items.
- As required by law, every guest above 4 years must carry government-approved photo ID proof, that shows address. We accept only Aadhar Cards, Driving Licenses and Passports.
- Inappropriate behaviour or violation of any of the above House Rules will invite a polite refusal to accept a Booking. If already checked in, Management reserves the right to ask guests to leave.
- This is a complex of 7 bedrooms in row house style.
- 2 bedrooms can be booked individually. Please get in touch with us if you wish to book a single room.
- The units do not have a living area.
- Crockery cabinets beside the refrigerator are for guests' use.
- There are partitions for privacy near the pool area.
- The Lawn and Gazebo are shared spaces.
- The staff at this home comprises people including the caretakers, and the property manager to cater to any of your getaway needs.
- Up to 4 cars can be parked on site. (Shared Parking)
- Separate meals ordered for infants will be chargeable.
- At SaffronStays, your comfort and safety are our top priorities. As the monsoon season approaches and coastal winds sweep through Alibaug, occasional power fluctuations or outages may occur due to weather conditions or regional restrictions.
- In the event of a power interruption, our reliable generator backup will be switched on promptly to ensure minimal inconvenience. Please note the following:
- Diesel charges will apply after 8 hours of generator usage, at the rate of ₹800 per hour thereafter.
- Maintenance Breaks: To prevent overheating and ensure smooth operation, the generator must be switched off for 30 minutes after every 2 hours of continuous use.
- Power Conservation: During backup power periods, we kindly request guests to refrain from using high-power-consuming appliances such as air conditioners and geysers, so that the system remains stable for everyone’s comfort.
- While our team will be on standby to assist during such instances, we appreciate your understanding that power outages due to external factors are beyond our control.
- Enjoy a day of absolute relaxation and bliss by lazing around the plunge pool or running to the sea on the sands of Kihim Beach ( 1Km )
- Spend your afternoons enjoying a delightful picnic on the lawns or enjoy a cup of refreshing tea in the gazebo.
- Beach babies can head out to Kihim Beach ( 1Km), or Nagao Beach (3 Kms) for a beach day and enjoy breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea.
- Take a trip to Kanakeshwar Temple (8 km), located atop a hill nearby. The temple offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding landscape.
- The Khanderi and Underi forts are just a 10Kms. Explore the naval marvel of the Maratha Empire.

I recommend this place highly to anyone looking at a relaxing trip away from Home without missing out on the taste of homemade food. The staff are very helpful, the rooms are clean and tasteful. The amenities are good and the location is very serene. It’s also a great option for large families looking for a relaxing weekend getaway.
Few feedback - Since meals are included , proper clarity is needed with reference to the confirmation on the meal. How it will be served - buffet vs thali Disposable slippers weren’t available and toothpaste and brush were available only on request and was with additional charges. Location was very isolation, proper road was not there to reach the location and beach was also very far.

We recently stayed at a beautiful new property in Alibaug and were the first guests to book. The place is ? Instagram-worthy, ?? peaceful, and close to ? Kihim Beach, making it perfect for a cozy family getaway. The personal pool added to the relaxing experience. The food, while limited in variety, was still good, and the team assured us they’re working on expanding the spread. Special thanks to Mansi, Sagar, Rakesh, and the team for their great hospitality, and to Swapnil for his excellent support throughout the booking and stay. Overall, a fantastic weekend destination!
